Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor and businesswoman who hails from Australia. Following her start in her native country she eventually moved to Hollywood and has found significant success there. George is an Perth native who became interested initially in skateboarding and dance. The modeling career of her began in her early twenties, when she won the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. In an episode from The Seven Network's Home and Away, she was first seen on screen the next year. Her screen debut was with Dark City. Following that she was cast in different roles as a support actor in movies like Alias The Limey & Down with Love. She is currently one of the sought-after Australian expatriates in the American film and entertainment industry. As an entrepreneur George has introduced her own invention Style Snaps into the market.
